SAEMT envision ourselves as master trainers. We see ourselves as the preferred private and public sector training provider in the Mpumalanga region.Our courses are designed to develop and empower the individual, the workplace and the nation.

MISSION:

SAEMT has a passion for people and we wish to instil a positive impact on incident prevention, acquiring basic medical knowledge, skills and confidence to act in an emergency situation if the need arises. We strive to provide the community and industry with affordable, quality First Aid Training, which is practical and up to date with national and international protocols.

SCOPE

SAEMT want to impart relevant and effective basic life support skills for current and workplace needs in the most efficient way. We offer a training experience that changes the mind, body and the emotive into the strategic intent. We exist to capacitate private and public sectors through skills development.

We achieve this by:

3. Constant updating of teaching materials used.
4. Assessing current industry trends.
5. Complying with the Department of Labour and Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa, in relation to their standards.

AN OVERVIEW

SAEMT has been registered with the Department of Labour since 2000. Our courses are conducted in accordance with their requirements. Our facilitators are of a high standard, ensuring the delivery of quality courses. The facilitators are H.W.S.E.T.A accredited assessors and are aligned according to their unit standards as well as Department of Labour and Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa. The assessors have previous experience of working in emergency medicine, bringing valuable experience to their training environment. The following is a breakdown of the courses presently.

• Heartsaver CPR & AED accredited with Resuscitation Council of S.A and American Heart Association

• Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers accredited with Resuscitation Council of S.A and American Heart Association

HUMAN RESOURCE POLICY

Our facilitators are selected for their passion to empower people. They have in-house training and are qualified as facilitators. We expect a high standard from every facilitator and keep quality checks in place with every course, by getting students to evaluate the facilitators.
Facilitators are encouraged to develop and expand themselves personally through recommended reading material and courses. We realise that personal experiences are very important in the training environment, provided that it is appropriate.
Facilitators may not show favouritism or discrimination towards culture, beliefs, etc.
